Low in purines – therefore also suitable as kidney support food or for a kidney diet in cases of kidney diseases such as kidney failure and kidney insufficiency, supportive in pancreatitis, important for leishmaniasis. Less animal protein in the dog bowl has many advantages. Much greater than the risk of protein deficiency is nowadays the over-supply with animal protein. The domestic dog's organism is not designed for an excess of protein, such as feeding exclusively with beef muscle meat.
