Less animal protein in the dog's bowl has many advantages. Nowadays, an oversupply of animal protein is much greater than the risk of a lack of protein. The organism of the domestic dog is not adapted to an excess of protein, as would be the case, for example, if it were fed exclusively beef muscle meat. A prolonged excess of protein puts a strain on the dog's metabolism and in particular the kidneys. This can often be recognized by symptoms such as itching, reddened skin (paws) and loss of fur (although these symptoms can also have other causes).

A dog needs a balanced supply of proteins, carbohydrates, fats and fiber, plus various minerals and vitamins.

what's inside - the benefits of the ingredients:

• Organic chicken: chicken meat contains protein with a high biological value, it contains important minerals and vitamins, has an exceptionally favorable fat composition and is easily digestible.
• Cooking stock: is the water in which all the ingredients have been cooked. This is required for every cooking process (for every canned meal) - but is not declared by many manufacturers.
• Organic brown rice: it is not polished, so the protein and fat content is higher than in white rice and the nutrient and fiber-rich silver skin is also preserved. Brown rice contains polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are essential for maintaining cells and a functioning cardiovascular system, among other things.
• Organic sweet potatoes: They contain vitamin A and beta-carotene, which is good for eyesight and skin. The beta carotene content is even similar to that of carrots. They also contain vitamin E, which protects skin cells from ageing . They contain twice as much fiber as conventional potatoes and also have a high vitamin C content. They are also rich in antioxidant carotenes, potassium, calcium and vitamin K.
• Organic apples : Regular consumption of these fruits, which are rich in vital substances, can strengthen the immune system. They contain many vitamins and trace elements. The pectin they contain also aids digestion.
• Organic linseed press cake: contains omega-3, the "good" fatty acids, which can have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system and strengthen the immune system at the same time.linseed press cake also contains lignans(secondary plant compounds), which help to protect cells and strengthen cell walls. Regular feeding can ensure improved condition and a shiny coat.
• Organic coconut oil: it contains around 45-60% lauric acid, which increases the HDL value (the "good cholesterol"). Coconut oil also contains many minerals and vitamins. It is easy to digest and has a positive effect on fat metabolism.
• Organic rosehips: are particularly rich in vitamin C. Ascorbic acid, i.e. vitamin C, is very important for building bone substance. The vitamin also regulates the body's calcium and phosphorus balance.
• Organic oregano: is considered a natural antibiotic in naturopathy. It has an antibacterial, antiviral and fungicidal effect, which means it helps in the fight against bacteria, viruses and fungi. Oregano is also considered to have anti-inflammatory properties.
