Our "Fischers Fritz" menu has been specially developed to provide a healthy and tasty meal for your dog. With our low-purine recipe and mostly organic ingredients, it provides a balanced diet and is therefore also suitable for dogs with special dietary requirements. Our fish menu provides a balanced mix of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals that contribute to your dog's health and vitality.

Most of the ingredients come from controlled organic cultivation, which not only ensures the quality of the food, but also protects the environment. Through sustainable farming and production, we help to reduce the ecological footprint.

We have made a conscious decision to use wild salmon. In so-called aquacultures (factory farming under water), it is not only the chemicals used (e.g. pesticides and antibiotics) that are a problem, but also the enormous feed requirements of the predatory fish: two to five kilograms of fish have to be fed to produce one kilogram of salmon. As paradoxical as it sounds: Aquaculture contributes to the overfishing of the oceans.

Less animal protein in the dog's bowl has many advantages. Nowadays, an oversupply of animal protein is much greater than the risk of a lack of protein. The organism of the domestic dog is not adapted to an excess of protein, as would be the case, for example, if it were fed exclusively beef muscle meat. A prolonged excess of protein puts a strain on the dog's metabolism and in particular the kidneys. This can often be recognized by symptoms such as itching, reddened skin (paws) and loss of fur (although these symptoms can also have other causes).

A dog needs a balanced supply of proteins, carbohydrates, fats and fiber, plus various minerals and vitamins.

We remain true to our philosophy; we want our products to be as natural as possible, which is why we do not add any oils or vitamins and minerals (so-called premixes > of synthetic origin) to the can in advance.

What's inside - the benefits of the ingredients:

• Salmon: it contains good fatty acids, including Omega 3. Omega 3 fatty acids can protect against cardiovascular disease. Salmon also contains minerals that strengthen the bones (phosphorus, potassium) and are important for the thyroid gland (iodine).
• Cooking stock: is the water in which all the ingredients have been cooked. This is required for every cooking process (for every canned meal) - but is not declared by many manufacturers.
• Organic quinoa: this pseudo-grain is a very good source of high-quality, plant-based protein. Quinoa is also rich in iron, folic acid, magnesium, zinc and manganese. It contains all 9 essential amino acids in the optimum ratio.
• Organic pears: Pears are rich in folic acid, which promotes growth and blood formation. They have a whole range of B vitamins - these are important for the nerves. The tannic acids in pears help with inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract.
• Organic carrots:they contain a number of B vitamins, especially vitamins B1, B2 and B6. They also contain vitamin C, which is important for our immune system, and vitamin E, a free radical scavenger.
• Organic fennel: the bulb contains significant amounts of vitamins A, K, E, folic acid and beta-carotene. It also contains the minerals potassium, calcium, magnesium and manganese. Its high vitamin C and iron content is particularly noteworthy. The essential oils support digestion and strengthen the stomach.
• Organic coconut milk: the medium-chain triglycerides in coconut milk are particularly useful for supplying energy to the lymph nodes and liver. They can also protect the heart by increasing the level of beneficial HDL cholesterol in the blood.
• Organic parsley: according to naturopathy, parsley can lower blood sugar levels and relieve cramps. Parsley is also a powerful antioxidant, combating free radicals and oxidative stress - one of the main causes of many chronic diseases.
• Organic rosehips: are particularly rich in vitamin C. Ascorbic acid, i.e. vitamin C, is very important for building bone substance. The vitamin also regulates the body's calcium and phosphorus balance.
• Algae lime: contains mainly calcium carbonate, as well as magnesium carbonate and trace elements (boron, iodine, silicic acid) and can therefore prevent a deficiency of minerals and trace elements.
