Less animal protein in your dog's food has many advantages. Nowadays, the risk of an excess of animal protein is much greater than the risk of a protein deficiency. The domestic dog's organism is not designed for an excess of protein, as would be the case, for example, if it were fed exclusively on beef muscle meat. A prolonged excess of protein puts strain on the metabolism of your four-legged friend, especially the kidneys. This can often be recognized by symptoms such as itching, reddened skin areas (paws), and hair loss (these symptoms can also have other causes).

What's inside – the benefits of the ingredients:

• Goat: Goat meat is considered one of the most valuable types of meat for dogs: it is particularly nutritious, rich in nutrients, and very easy to digest. The meat is rich in minerals, vitamins, and amino acids, while being low in cholesterol. It is ideal for dogs with allergies, intolerances, or sensitive dogs that need to gain weight.
• Cooking liquid: this is the water in which all the ingredients were cooked. It is required for every cooking process (for every can), but is not declared by many manufacturers.
• Organic quinoa:this pseudo-grain is gluten-free and easy to digest. It is a very good source of high-quality plant protein. Quinoa also scores highly with its high iron, folic acid, magnesium, zinc, manganese, and all important amino acids.
