Our Insect Power menu is a hypoallergenic supplementary food that is also ideal for sensitive dogs. Many dogs today suffer from so-called food intolerances. They react to common types of meat such as chicken, turkey or beef - as well as cereals, soy or dairy products. However, the frequently used binding agents, fillers and flavor enhancers (especially in dry food) can also cause problems. The symptoms of food intolerance are varied - for example stomach problems or gastrointestinal complaints, vomiting, nausea, inflammation of the stomach lining, reddened skin, dermatitis, itching, anal itching, fur loss, digestive problems / diarrhea, weight loss, problems with the ears and/or anal glands.

An elimination diet restricted to a previously unknown protein source can be excellently carried out with our Insect Power. But please always remember that really nothing else - not even the one small treat - should be fed with another animal protein source. We have also deliberately refrained from using potatoes and parsnips, as some dogs are already very sensitive to these.

Why world-conscious?
Around 9.4 million dogs live in Germany and because our pets also leave their CO2 footprint, we can make a good contribution to protecting the environment by consuming less meat. At napani, we believe that less meat on the plate and in the bowl is a responsibility that affects us all. Three of our employees are vegan, so it has always been difficult to come to terms with the fact that other animals also have to die for our beloved pets. A dog can be fed very well without meat (taking into account the nutritional requirements) - but not all dogs like it. Feeding your dog insect-based protein can bridge the gap between meat and plant-based diets.

What's inside - the benefits of the ingredients:

• Insects (black soldier fly/larvae): high quality, very unknown protein. Good for your dog and good for the environment.
• Cooking stock: is the water in which all the ingredients have been cooked. This is required for every cooking process (for every canned meal) - but is not declared by many manufacturers.
• Organic amaranth: it has a high proportion of fiber, which has a positive influence on the feeling of satiety and intestinal health. The puffed grains are also a great source of vegetable protein - a strong 15 g of protein per 100 grams, with a high biological value. Magnesium, calcium, potassium, iron, vitamins B1 and vitamin E can also be found in the old inca grain.
• Organic pumpkin: provides many vitamins, including beta-carotene (as a precursor of vitamin A), which is needed for eyesight, vitamin C and vitamin E, as well as the minerals potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron. Also contains satiating fiber.
• Organic blueberries: contain many minerals such as iron, calcium and potassium. Their high fiber content promotes the digestive effect.
• Organic parsley: according to naturopathy, parsley can lower blood sugar levels and relieve cramps. Parsley is also a powerful antioxidant, combating free radicals and oxidative stress.
• Organic broccoli seeds (sprouted): sprouted broccoli seeds not only provide important vitamins and minerals, but their ingredients also have an antioxidant effect.
• Algae lime: contains mainly calcium carbonate, as well as magnesium carbonate and trace elements (boron, iodine, silicic acid) and can therefore prevent a deficiency of minerals and trace elements.
