Our “Insect Power” with amaranth, pumpkin, and blueberries represents a new generation of dog food – sustainable, balanced, and particularly well tolerated. The innovative protein source from insects conserves resources and at the same time provides a high-quality supply of essential nutrients. Carefully selected amaranth provides natural energy, while pumpkin gently supports digestion. Blueberries provide antioxidant plant substances that can strengthen your dog every day. The balanced recipe is free from artificial additives and deliberately focuses on natural ingredients with functional added value.

1. Lysine → important for growth and the immune system
2. Methionine & cysteine → for skin and coat

• Ideal for sensitive and weight-conscious dogs
• Low in purines – therefore also suitable as kidney food or for a kidney diet in cases of kidney disease, such as kidney failure, renal insufficiency, and urinary stones. Supportive in cases of pancreatitis, also suitable for arthritic complaints. Dogs suffering from leishmaniasis and being treated with the drug allopurinol must be fed a purine-free diet.

The purine values of our menus are calculated in a certified laboratory – this costs money, but it ensures safety. Some manufacturers calculate these values using a food table – free of charge, but inaccurately.

Our Insect Power is a hypoallergenic menu that is also ideal for sensitive dogs. Many dogs today suffer from so-called food intolerances. They react to common types of meat such as chicken, turkey, or beef, as well as grains, soy, or dairy products. However, the binders, fillers, and flavor enhancers that are often used (especially in dry food) can also cause problems. The symptoms of food intolerance are varied—for example, stomach problems or gastrointestinal complaints, frequent smacking of the lips, vomiting, nausea, gastritis, reddened skin, dermatitis, itching, anal itching, hair loss, digestive problems/diarrhea, weight loss, ear problems, and/or anal gland problems.

Amaranth is not a classic grain, but a so-called pseudo-grain. This makes it naturally gluten-free and particularly suitable for dogs with sensitive digestion or grain intolerances.

An exclusion diet limited to a previously unknown protein source can be easily implemented with our Insect Power Menu. But please always remember that nothing else—not even a single small treat—may be fed with another source of animal protein. We have also deliberately avoided the use of potatoes and parsnips, as some dogs are now very sensitive to these ingredients.

NEW! 800 g now in artificial casing:

Due to storage in artificial casing (without aluminum), a slight color change may occur at the edge. When cut, this area may therefore appear slightly darker than the core of the sausage. This is completely harmless and has no effect on quality or taste.Your dog will still love it!

Sustainable & practical packaging – less waste, less effort!

Our 800g products are packaged in environmentally friendly artificial casings. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials require complex recycling and often end up in residual waste, artificial casings produce only a minimum of waste. This protects the environment and saves valuable resources.

The “sausage” also has advantages when it comes to shipping: it is robust, space-saving, and does not require complex protective packaging such as glass or cans. This means that the product can be shipped easily, safely, and with significantly less packaging material. That translates to less waste, less weight, and a smaller carbon footprint—for a sustainable and responsible diet for your dog!
