100% chicken meat - organic quality, of course. napani also pays attention to good quality in our own nutrition, so it goes without saying that our animals only get the best in their bowls for the benefit of their health. True to the motto: "Your dog is what he eats". We only put one source of meat in each can - and it is gently steam-cooked. This preserves as many of the meat's vitamins and minerals as possible. In order to obtain a species-appropriate, needs-covering feed, mix in our basic feed, vital additives and vital oils.

During the cooking process of the meat, which in our case consists of 90 % muscle meat, 5 % necks and 5 % carcass, meat juice may escape. Depending on the type of meat used (e.g. young or older animal) and its consistency, the contents of the can may look different. Muscle meat consists of connective tissue, among other things, which has a collagen content. Tendons and cartilage also consist of collagen. During cooking, this collagen slowly turns into gelatine - the soft, gooey mass that is also known from cake icing. This gelatine in turn ensures that the meat does not dry out, but becomes juicier and juicier as the cooking time continues.

As we do not use any binding agents at all, the consistency is not subject to controllable fluctuations. So if there is more meat stock or gelatine in the tin, this has nothing to do with the quality. On the contrary, the dogs even love this gooey content.

This is in the can:

• Chicken muscle meat: a rich source of protein that provides vitamins, minerals and trace elements. High-quality meat contains essential fatty acids and amino acids, which are normally responsible for building muscle. It also contains plenty of iron, zinc, potassium and B vitamins, but hardly any fat.
• Chicken necks (minced): they are very rich in protein and calcium. Calcium is an essential and very important mineral for dogs, as it is responsible for building bones and teeth.
• Chicken carcass (minced): the carcass is the body of the poultry - without legs and wings - and consists of breast, back and inner fillets as well as soft cartilage tissue and skin remnants. The cartilage provides calcium and is rich in natural collagen.
