Storing the sausage in artificial casing (without aluminum) can naturally cause a slight color change at the edges. When cut, this area may therefore appear slightly darker than the center of the sausage.
This is completely harmless and has no effect on quality or taste.

Our 800 g products are packaged in environmentally friendly artificial casings. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials require complex recycling and often end up in residual waste, artificial casings produce only a minimum of waste. This protects the environment and saves valuable resources.

The “sausage” also has advantages when it comes to shipping: it is robust, space‑saving, and does not require complex protective packaging such as glass or cans. This means that the product can be shipped easily, safely, and with significantly less packaging material.
