What's in the can:

• Mutton muscle meat: Mutton meat is a collective term that includes meat from animals of different ages (from young lambs to adult sheep) and genders. It is rich in protein, B vitamins, iron, zinc, and niacin.  Mutton/lamb meat is very lean, containing less than four percent fat. Its protein content, on the other hand, is remarkable. It also provides dogs with essential fatty acids, which have a positive effect on skin metabolism and ensure a shiny coat.
• Heart (mutton): strictly speaking, this is a muscle, although the organ is often listed separately due to its unusual nutrient content and is treated like offal in dog food. It is high in protein, low in fat and therefore low in calories. It is very rich in vitamins and minerals. Lung (mutton): Offal such as lung is rich in vitamins A, D and C and has a high water content.
• Liver (mutton): High in vitamin A, very high in iron, rich in B vitamins and vitamin D. Promotes healthy energy metabolism.

For your information:

1. Our high-quality pure meat is supplemented with brown algae as a natural binding agent – without any artificial additives! The consistency of the meat in the can or in the artificial casing is subject to uncontrollable fluctuations.
2. Gentle steam cooking allows natural meat juices to escape. The collagen contained in the meat turns into gelatin and keeps the meat juicy. A slightly gelatinous consistency is completely natural and a sign of high quality.

When stored in artificial casing (without aluminum), a slight color change may occur naturally at the edges. When cut, this area may therefore appear slightly darker than the core of the sausage.
This is completely harmless and has no effect on quality or taste.

Our 800g products are packaged in environmentally friendly artificial casings. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials require complex recycling and often end up in residual waste, artificial casings produce only a minimum of waste. This protects the environment and saves valuable resources.

The “sausage” also has advantages when it comes to shipping: it is robust, space-saving, and does not require complex protective packaging such as glass or cans. This means that the product can be shipped easily, safely, and with significantly less packaging material. This means less waste, less weight, and a smaller carbon footprint—for a sustainable and responsible diet for your dog!
