The purine values of our menus are calculated in a certified laboratory—this costs money, but it provides certainty.
Some manufacturers calculate these values using a food table – free of charge, but inaccurately.Less animal protein in your dog's food has many advantages. Nowadays, an oversupply of animal protein is much greater than the risk of a protein deficiency. The organism of domestic dogs is not adapted to a permanent excess of animal protein. A prolonged excess of protein puts strain on the metabolism of your four-legged friend, especially in old age, and in particular on the kidneys, liver, and intestinal environment. This often manifests itself in symptoms such as itching, reddened skin areas and skin inflammation, frequent licking of the paws, ear problems, flatulence, smacking, vomiting, persistent gastrointestinal problems, and hair loss. But fatigue, nervousness, and constant “hyperactivity” can also indicate that your four-legged friend is unable to utilize an excess of protein. Please note: these symptoms can, of course, also have other causes – if in doubt, you should always consult your veterinarian or animal health practitioner.
A dog needs a balanced supply of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and fiber, plus various minerals and vitamins.
We remain true to our philosophy; we want our products to be as natural as possible, which is why we do not add any oils, vitamins, or minerals (so-called premixes of synthetic origin) to our menu.

Our 800g products are packaged in environmentally friendly artificial casings. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials require complex recycling and often end up in residual waste, artificial casings produce only a minimum of waste. This protects the environment and saves valuable resources.
The “sausage” also has advantages when it comes to shipping: it is robust, space-saving, and does not require complex protective packaging such as glass or cans. This means that the product can be shipped easily, safely, and with significantly less packaging material. This means less waste, less weight, and a smaller carbon footprint—for a sustainable and responsible diet for your dog!
