True to the motto: “Your dog is what he eats.” We only use one source of meat in each can/artificial intestine – and it is gently steam-cooked. This preserves as many of the meat's vitamins and minerals as possible. To obtain a species-appropriate food that meets your dog's needs, mix our basic food with vital supplements and vital oils. Mixing is possible!

What's in the can:

• Mutton muscle meat: Mutton meat is a collective term that includes meat from animals of different ages (from young lambs to adult sheep) and genders. It is rich in protein, B vitamins, iron, zinc, and niacin.  Mutton/lamb meat is very lean, containing less than four percent fat. Its protein content, on the other hand, is remarkable. It also provides dogs with essential fatty acids, which have a positive effect on skin metabolism and ensure a shiny coat.
• Heart (mutton): strictly speaking, this is a muscle, although the organ is often listed separately due to its unusual nutrient content and is treated like offal in dog food. It is high in protein, low in fat and therefore low in calories. It is very rich in vitamins and minerals. Lung (mutton): Offal such as lung is rich in vitamins A, D and C and has a high water content.
• Liver (mutton): High in vitamin A, very high in iron, rich in B vitamins and vitamin D. Promotes healthy energy metabolism.

Muscle meat consists of connective tissue, which contains collagen. Tendons and cartilage also consist of collagen. During cooking, this collagen slowly transforms into gelatin—the soft, slimy substance that is also used in cake glazes. This gelatin, in turn, is responsible for ensuring that the meat does not dry out, but becomes juicier and juicier as the cooking time progresses. Since we naturally use algae as a binding agent in our pure meat varieties, the consistency is subject to uncontrollable fluctuations. So if there is more gelatin in the product, this has nothing to do with the quality. On the contrary, dogs actually love this slimy part.

Artificial casing:

Storing the sausage in artificial casings, which naturally do not contain aluminum, can cause the meat to discolor slightly at the edges. This means that when you cut the sausage, the edges may be darker than the center. However, this does not affect the quality. Your dog will definitely enjoy it!

Sustainable & practical packaging – less waste, less effort!

Our 800g products are filled in environmentally friendly artificial casings. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials require complex recycling and often end up in residual waste, artificial casings produce only a minimum of waste. This protects the environment and saves valuable resources.

This “sausage” also has advantages when it comes to shipping: it is robust, space-saving, and does not require complex protective packaging such as glass or cans. This means that the product can be shipped easily, safely, and with significantly less packaging material.
