Simply wild boar meat - nothing else. At napani, we also pay attention to good quality in our own nutrition. Therefore, it is self-evident and important to us that our four-legged friends also get only the best in their bowl for the sake of their health. True to the motto: "Your dog is what it eats." With us, there is only one single meat source in the can – gently steam-cooked. This way, as many vitamins and minerals of the meat as possible are preserved. To achieve a species-appropriate, nutritionally balanced meal, mix in our base food, vital supplements, and vital oils. Mixing is possible!

What's inside:

Wild boar meat contains a high amount of protein that is essential for building and maintaining muscles, skin, coat, and the immune system. Rich in iron, zinc, and B vitamins, which support blood formation, nerves, and the immune system. Relatively low in fat, especially compared to pork from conventional farming.

Wild boar is one of the so-called “exotic meat varieties” and is rarely used in standard dog food. This makes it ideal for:

• elimination diets
• sensitive digestion

When steam-cooking the meat, which in our case consists of 100% muscle meat, meat juices may be released. Depending on the type of meat used (e.g. young or older animal) and its condition, the contents of the can may vary in appearance. Muscle meat consists, among other things, of connective tissue that contains collagen. Tendons and cartilage are also made of collagen. During cooking, this collagen slowly transforms into gelatin – the soft, slippery mass also known from cake glaze. This gelatin ensures that the meat does not dry out but becomes juicier the longer the cooking time.

Since we naturally bind our pure meat varieties with algae, the consistency is subject to uncontrollable variations. If the product sometimes contains more gelatin, this has nothing to do with quality. On the contrary, dogs even love this slippery part.

When stored in artificial casings, which naturally do not contain aluminum, the meat may discolor slightly at the edges. This means that when you cut the sausage, the edges may be darker than the center. However, this does not affect the quality. Your dog will love it!

> Sustainable & practical packaging – less waste, less effort!

Our duck meat is packaged in environmentally friendly artificial casings. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials require complex recycling and often end up in residual waste, artificial casings produce only a minimum of waste. This protects the environment and saves valuable resources.

Sausages in artificial casings also have an advantage when it comes to shipping: they are robust, space-saving, and do not require complex protective packaging such as glass or cans. This means that the sausage can be shipped easily, safely, and with significantly less packaging material. That translates to less waste, less weight, and a smaller carbon footprint—for a sustainable and responsible diet for your dog!

Note: with game meat, it is advisable to mash the meat with a fork before feeding, as in rare cases a projectile may remain in the raw material! The raw material is scanned with metal detectors before processing, but from time to time there may be projectiles that the detectors cannot detect.
