Simply beef – nothing else. At napani, we care about good quality nutrition for ourselves too. That’s why it’s natural and important to us that our four-legged friends also get only the best in their bowls for their health and well-being. Following the motto: "Your dog is what he eats." We use only one single source of meat per sausage – gently steamed to preserve as many vitamins and minerals as possible. To create a species-appropriate, complete meal, mix our basic food with vital supplements and vital oils. Mixing is possible!

What’s inside:

Beef is a high-quality protein that provides all essential amino acids dogs need for muscle building, immune system function, and cell maintenance. It contains healthy fats – especially unsaturated fatty acids – that strengthen the skin and coat and is rich in iron. Iron supports blood formation and helps supply oxygen to the cells. It also contains plenty of B vitamins such as B3 (niacin) and B6, which are important for energy metabolism and the nervous system. Beef is well tolerated – even for allergy-prone dogs – but relatively high in fat. Therefore, it should only be fed in small portions for dogs that need to maintain their weight.

During steam cooking, meat juices may escape. Depending on the type and condition of the animal used (e.g., younger or older), the contents of the sausage may vary in appearance. Muscle meat contains connective tissue, which includes collagen. Tendons and cartilage also consist of collagen, which slowly transforms into gelatin during cooking – that soft, jelly-like texture you may know from cake glaze. This gelatin ensures that the meat doesn’t dry out but becomes juicier the longer it cooks.

As we naturally use algae as a binder in our pure meat varieties, the consistency may vary and cannot always be controlled. If the product sometimes contains more gelatin, this does not affect the quality. On the contrary – dogs usually love the slightly jelly-like parts!

Because the meat is stored in an artificial casing that contains no aluminum, the outer layer may slightly discolor. This means that when you cut the sausage, the edge might be darker than the center. However, this does not affect the quality in any way. Your dog will love it!

Our beef is filled into an environmentally friendly artificial casing. Compared to traditional cans, this produces significantly less packaging waste. While metal or composite cans require labor-intensive recycling and often end up in general waste, the artificial casing generates only minimal waste. This helps protect the environment and conserve valuable resources.

Even during shipping, the sausage in the casing has advantages: it’s robust, space-saving, and doesn’t require complex protective packaging like glass or cans. This makes it easy, safe, and much lighter to ship – meaning less packaging waste, less weight, and a lower CO₂ footprint – for a sustainable and responsible diet for your dog!
