We have developed a new menu that not only provides a well-tolerated source of protein but also includes ingredients that are well accepted and tolerated by nutrition-sensitive dogs and those with food allergies. With our low-purine recipe and mostly organic ingredients, it ensures a balanced diet and is therefore also suitable for dogs with special dietary needs. Less animal protein in your dog's bowl has many advantages. Much greater than the risk of protein deficiency nowadays is an over-supply of animal protein. The household dog's organism is not adapted to an excess of protein, as might result from feeding exclusively beef muscle meat. A prolonged surplus of protein strains your dog's metabolism, especially the kidneys. This is often recognizable by symptoms such as itching, reddened skin areas (paws), and fur loss (though these symptoms can also have other causes).

A dog requires a balanced supply of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, as well as various minerals and vitamins.

We stay true to our philosophy: we want our products to be as natural as possible, so we do not add any oils or vitamin and mineral mixes (so-called premixes > synthetic origin) to the can in advance.

This is what's inside – the advantages of the ingredients:

• Game: the meat from roe deer, red deer, and fallow deer contains valuable and important trace elements such as selenium, iron, and zinc in high concentrations. Game meat is also lean, low in cholesterol, and guaranteed free from antibiotics, medications, and hormones.
• Broth: is the water in which all ingredients are cooked. This is needed for each cooking process (for every can menu) – but it is not declared by many manufacturers.
• Sweet potatoes: Compared to potatoes, sweet potatoes contain a little more calcium, magnesium, vitamin E, folic acid, and vitamin C, but virtually no fat. Unlike potatoes and parsnips, sweet potatoes are well tolerated by many dogs.
• Broccoli: The green vegetable contains, among others, the minerals potassium, calcium, magnesium, and iron. The mustard oils (glucosinolates) typical of cruciferous vegetables count among the secondary plant substances and have numerous supportive effects on health.
• Pears: Pears are rich in folic acid, which promotes growth and blood formation. They contain a whole range of B vitamins – these are important for the nerves. The tannins in pears support inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract.
• Fennel seeds: have long been known in herbal medicine. Fennel is considered extremely stomach-strengthening.
• Algae lime: Mainly contains calcium carbonate, as well as magnesium carbonate and trace elements (boron, iodine, silica), and can thus help prevent a deficiency in minerals and trace elements.

Sustainably & conveniently packaged – less waste, less effort!

Our game meat menu is filled in environmentally friendly artificial casing. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials must be recycled laboriously and often end up in residual waste, artificial casing produces only a minimum of waste. This protects the environment and conserves valuable resources.

Even in shipping, the sausage in artificial casing has an advantage: it is robust, space-saving, and requires no complex protective packaging such as glass or cans. This allows the sausage to be shipped simply, safely, and with much less packaging material. That means less waste, less weight, and a lower CO₂ footprint – for a sustainable and responsible diet for your dog!

Note: For game, it is advisable to mash the meat with a fork before feeding, as in rare cases a projectile may remain in the raw material! The raw material is scanned with metal detectors prior to processing, but there are occasionally projectiles that cannot be found by the detectors.
