Why does napani now offer dry food?

The story of Medo:

We always have foster dogs from animal shelters - mostly from Romania and Spain. The dogs are of course fed dry food in the animal shelters, otherwise it would not be financially feasible. we can quickly and easily switch 90% of our foster dogs to our napani wet food. But there are the remaining 10 % and these are a challenge. For some, health reasons can play a role, for others it is the "imprinting" on the flavour enhancers that are found in the dry food of many manufacturers. Whatever the cause - they even refuse home-cooked food. When Medo arrived from Spain, he was already quite thin. Unfortunately, all efforts (even pure meat - canned, fresh, roasted) failed. He also had health problems, which didn't make it any easier. He definitely needed to gain weight! As Medo clearly preferred dry food, but we were unhappy with all the current products on the market, we had to actively look for a solution. And we found the solution in the UK! There is a manufacturer there that produces dry food under strict conditions and with the best regional ingredients.

We looked closely at the manufacturer and the following things were important to us - and of course they were met:

• high-quality ingredients whose origin is traceable
• clear composition
• Use of fresh meat (at least 30% fresh meat in our varieties)
• no meat and bone meal
• freshtrusion * low temperatures during processing (up to max. 82° C)
• Monoprotein
• good acceptance, even without flavor enhancers and preservatives
• high tolerability (no allergenic ingredients if possible)
• 100 % declaration

We do not recommend feeding dry food as a complete food for the whole of a dog's life. But there are so many dog owners who have always fed dry food and will continue to do so in the future. There are also dogs like Medo who cannot be switched to wet food. Or there are situations where it has to be quick and easy: Vacation trips, hikes, your dog needs to be looked after by people who find everything else too complicated as a supplementary feed for large dogs, etc.

No matter what your reasons are, we want to offer a product where ALL ingredients are openly presented and whose quality we value.
