What's inside:
Wild boar meat is high in protein, which is essential for building and maintaining muscles, skin, and coat, as well as for the immune system. Rich in iron, zinc, and B vitamins, which support blood formation, nerves, and the immune system. Provides all essential fatty acids. Relatively low in fat, especially compared to pork from conventional farming.
Wild boar is one of the so-called “exotic meats” and is rarely used in standard dog food. This makes it ideal for:

- Our high-quality pure meat is supplemented with brown algae as a natural binding agent – without any artificial additives! The consistency of the meat in the can or artificial casing is subject to uncontrollable fluctuations.
- Gentle steam cooking releases natural meat juices. The collagen contained in the meat turns into gelatin and keeps the meat juicy. A slightly gelatinous consistency is completely natural and a sign of quality.

Storing the sausage in artificial casings (without aluminum) can naturally cause a slight color change at the edges. When cut, this area may therefore appear slightly darker than the core of the sausage. This is completely harmless and has no effect on quality or taste.

Sustainable & practical packaging – less waste, less effort!
Our 800g products are packaged in environmentally friendly artificial casings. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials are difficult to recycle and often end up in residual waste, artificial casings produce only a minimum of waste. This protects the environment and saves valuable resources.
The “sausage” also has advantages when it comes to shipping: it is robust, space-saving, and does not require complex protective packaging such as glass or cans. This means that the product can be shipped easily, safely, and with significantly less packaging material. This means less waste, less weight, and a smaller carbon footprint—for a sustainable and responsible diet for your dog!
Note: with game, it is advisable to mash the meat with a fork before feeding, as in rare cases a projectile may remain in the raw product! The raw meat is scanned with metal detectors before processing, but there are occasionally projectiles that cannot be detected by the detectors.

Application:
In winter: Apply a thin layer of paw balm to the large pads and toe pads before every walk and massage in briefly. This creates a protective layer against snow and ice.
After the walk and always after contact with road salt, the paws should be cleaned with a damp cloth. An additional wash with lukewarm water is necessary if stubborn dirt or corrosive road salt needs to be removed. Then dry thoroughly, including between the toes.
Heavily stressed and cracked paw pads can be treated with paw balm several times a day as needed. The balm works particularly well overnight.
