Less animal protein – more balance

Less animal protein in your dog’s food can have many advantages. An oversupply of animal protein is often a greater issue than a lack of protein in everyday feeding. A prolonged excess can place strain on metabolism, especially in older dogs, and can affect the kidneys, liver, and intestinal environment. This may be accompanied by itching, reddened skin areas, skin inflammation, frequent licking of the paws, ear problems, flatulence, smacking, vomiting, persistent gastrointestinal problems, or hair loss. Fatigue, nervousness, and constant hyperactivity can also be signs of an unsuitable diet. However, these symptoms can also have other causes, so veterinary advice is recommended if in doubt [web:44].

A dog needs a balanced supply of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and fiber, plus various minerals and vitamins.

We remain true to our philosophy: we want our products to be as natural as possible. That is why we do not add any oils, vitamins, or minerals (so-called premixes of synthetic origin) to our menu.

Due to storage in artificial casing (without aluminum), a slight color change may occur at the edge. When cut, this area may therefore appear slightly darker than the core of the sausage. This is completely harmless and has no effect on quality or taste.

Our 800 g products are packaged in environmentally friendly artificial casings. Compared to conventional cans, this results in significantly less packaging waste. While cans made of metal or composite materials require complex recycling and often end up in residual waste, artificial casings produce only a minimum of waste.
