Our vegan organic menus are ideal for exclusion diets!
Allergies are very common in dogs these days. The symptoms can vary greatly, e.g. skin problems such as severe itching, skin rashes, weeping skin rashes, or stomach problems such as vomiting and nausea, chronic gastrointestinal complaints, recurrent diarrhea, and ear infections.if you suspect that your pet is suffering from a food intolerance, an exclusion diet may be the most sensible and successful course of action. Any ingredient in the food you have been feeding your pet could be triggering the intolerance. Your pet's immune system fights back with a defensive reaction against protein molecules that are classified by the body as "foreign substances." The most common triggers for allergies are animal proteins (often poultry, beef) and/or plant sources such as grains or soy.however, feed mites, which nest in all dry food, can also trigger allergic reactions.thanks to carefully selected ingredients, our vegan menus are perfect for an exclusion diet for your dog. They help you identify and manage intolerances and allergies.
Further benefits of a vegan diet for your dog:
Improved digestion: Vegan diets often contain lots of fiber from vegetables, fruit, and whole grains, which promote digestion and can lead to better intestinal health.
Health-promoting ingredients: Plant-based foods are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which help strengthen the immune system and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
Weight management: Vegan diets tend to be lower in calories and fat than meat-based diets, which can help with weight control and obesity prevention.
Heart health: A vegan diet can lower cholesterol levels and contribute to cardiovascular health. Plant-based foods are often free of saturated fats and cholesterol found in animal products.
Ethics and animal welfare: The decision to feed your dog a vegan diet may be made for ethical reasons, to avoid the exploitation and suffering of animals in the food industry.
Environmental friendliness: The production of plant-based foods has a lower ecological footprint than the production of animal products. A vegan diet for dogs can help reduce water consumption, deforestation, and greenhouse gas emissions.
Although a vegan diet for dogs can offer many benefits, it is important to ensure that the diet is balanced and complete to meet all of your dog's nutritional needs. We remain true to our philosophy; we want our products to be as natural as possible, which is why we do not add any oils, vitamins, or minerals (so-called Premixes of synthetic origin) in our cans. To provide your dog with all the nutrients it needs, you should mix the vegan menu from our Vitalmix Classic range with one of our Vtial oils.

ONLY COOKING YOURSELF IS BETTER!
What's in it:
- Organic red lentils: contain lots of high-quality plant protein. They contain many essential amino acids and fiber. The fiber helps the intestines absorb and eliminate toxins. They are also high in iron. The body needs this trace element not only to form blood components, but iron is also important for muscles and the liver.
- Broth: this is the water in which all the ingredients were cooked. It is needed for every cooking process (for every canned meal), but many manufacturers do not declare it.
- Organic oat flakes: oat flakes are very healthy due to their nutritional balance. They contain quite a lot of protein and extra fiber—especially the soluble fiber beta-glucan, which produces a gel film and slows down the emptying of the stomach, resulting in a long-lasting feeling of satiety.the flakes also contain minerals (especially magnesium, phosphorus, iron, and zinc) and valuable vitamins—oats have the highest vitamin B1 and B6 content of all grains, as well as plenty of plant-based iron.
- Organic sweet potatoes: They contain vitamin A and beta-carotene, which is good for eyesight and skin. The beta-carotene content is even close to that of carrots. They also contain vitamin E, which protects skin cells from aging. They have twice the amount of fiber as conventional potatoes and are also high in vitamin C. They are also rich in antioxidant carotenoids, potassium, calcium, and vitamin K.
- Organic pears: Pears are rich in folic acid, which promotes growth and blood formation. They contain a whole range of B vitamins, which are important for the nerves. The tannins in pears help to reduce inflammation in the stomach and intestines.
- Organic sunflower seeds: they contain large amounts of various B vitamins: vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B7, and B9 (folic acid). Vitamin E, also found in the seeds, has antioxidant properties and ensures a shiny, beautiful coat. They are one of the most magnesium-rich foods available.
- Organic coconut milk: the medium-chain triglycerides in coconut milk are particularly useful for supplying energy to the lymph nodes and liver.they can also protect the heart by increasing the level of beneficial HDL cholesterol in the blood.
- Organic psyllium: psyllium is rich in fiber (food for beneficial intestinal bacteria) and contains mucilage, which can bind large amounts of water. The mucilage stimulates digestion and helps relieve constipation, while also having a binding effect that can help with diarrhea.
- Organic rose hips: are particularly rich in vitamin C. Ascorbic acid, i.e. vitamin C, is very important for building bone mass. The vitamin also regulates the body's calcium and phosphorus balance.
- Algae lime: contains mainly calcium carbonate, as well as magnesium carbonate and trace elements (boron, iodine, silicic acid) and can therefore prevent mineral and trace element deficiencies.
